i finally finished watching scarlet heart!!
OMG.

cant wait for part 2!
the hottest topic is abt actually scarlet heart lately.

almost all of us were talking abt this lately!! LOL.
my collesgues and i talk in unison abt this every day!! LOL!
abt the prince, the ending and some ridiculous parts.

it was a heart wrenching ending.
i would very much prefer a happy ending though! as much as happy endings doesnt leave a long lasting impression in ppl's heart, but, sad endings just spoil my mood.

the ending is just, so sad. T.T #whylikethat.

but i really think this show is nice only at the last 10 episodes. HAHAHAH.
don find it particularly interesting in the front. XD. oops.
i am suffering from withdrawing symptoms today. watched the finale last night.
no more scarlet heart alr.

its definitely a drama worth watching!!

the original plan was to go paradise dynasty for XLB.
and i thought it wont be crowded on a weekday evening.
i assured them confirm have seats. i was so wrong.

only to realise, it was a 30 mins wait during dinner time. OMG.
called Janice to change venue. cause she was hiding somewhere with the cake. LOL.

change of plans. head off to sushi tei.
only to find out, it was another 30 mins wait. double OMG.
called Janice again. Change of plans AGAIN.

we finally settled on tampopo!! NO WAITING required.. HAHAHA. *say no to ajisen. quota reached.*
oh wells. blessings from god. tampopo didnt had any queue. #hungry.

i failed terribly as a organizer. tsk.
change venue twice. LOL.

met up with janice right after work to get Yongzhen's present!!! btw, Janice is wearing SMooch kiera tank dress in teal.

eh, yes. thats her daughter.my janice mama so hot looking lor. after giving birth to 2 kids. XD

not sure if anyone read my blog long enough to know that, i used to be a fan of ramen.
XX and i will hunt for new and tasty ramen to eat whenever we go out. and i have eaten all sorts of good ramen.

until, one fine day. ramen quota reached. no more ramen.
its not exactly value for money too. just noodles and 3 slices of meat. but it cost $20. Lol!

but tampopo's egg is really TO DIE FOR.

i have eaten so many japanese eggs. tampopo's egg is the nicest i have ever tried.
one egg for $1.80!

so nice pls. i can eat 10 of these everyday. did i say, i am nv a fan of eggs?
only japanese eggs are en exception. HAHAHA. XD

i can buy a box of eggs. eat two. and the remaining 8 eggs can keep until expire. LOL.
i told you i am not a fan of eggs. i don cook eggs for dinner. HAHAHA.

right after dinner. 10 mins after they clear our plates.
signal to the waitress to get ready the cake. and yz didnt know we bought a cake for her. XD

but they sent the cake over when yz is busy on the phone. HAHAHA. #awkward.

how did you guys spend your CNY?

probably because i have aged.
i don really feel ecstatic that CNY is arriving anymore.

when i was younger. CNY = $$ = red envelops = play = holiday = fun.

perhaps i am working now. those red envelops doesnt really entice me much.
maybe, it wasnt alot of money too. abt $100 odd.
XD

i don have a lot of relatives. HAHA.
the amt of angbao i gave out were moreeeeeeeeeeee. XD
nvm, those were acts of filial piety.

or perhaps its the amt of housework i got to clear prior to CNY.
almost the entire house is under my cleaning area, exception to my 2 bro's / papa rooms.

else, i will probably go crazy if i clean everything. as if i wasnt tired from all the work/lectures/notes.
just the living room makes me crazy alr.

so, i really hate 4 weeks before CNY.

nvm, i am glad its almost over. (:
i had a lot of good food.mama say, "CNY = eat eat AND eat."

if you don eat during CNY, when are you gg to enjoy such good food.
eat first, diet ltr. you got another 365 for diet. only 15 days to eat good food. LOL. and so, i followed instructions, and eat, eat and eat.

HAHAHA. what a pig life. XD
ok la. judging with the amt of food i eat, i should be relieved for a 2 kg weight gain.

hooray. grandma cooked a lot of awesome food. yummy fish. yummy prawns and abalones.

even though, its obvious there is no way we can finish the food. but CNY = must have a lot of food = must over eat else waste food.

even xx knows me, in a pot of chinese mushromms and meat and sea cucumber. i would secretly dig all the sea cucumber and eat. HAHAHA.

went to Mustafa to buy curtains. yes, after CNY eve. out of the blue, mama decided to buy more curtains and change the curtains for the entire house..

i alr hanged up new curtains for the living room. but mama decided to buy more. so we head over to Mustafa!

head home 2 hours ltr and wait for XX!
invited XX over to grandma house during 大年初二!
the plan was to meet at 6pm at my house before heading over tgt.

me: "6pm. 15 mins ltr. he wont be late. only i will be evil enough to be forever late and make him wait."
mama: " HAHAHA! tsk." trust me, she HAHA very loud.

at 6pm.
i thought to myself. SHIT. i am not done with me cleaning the floors yet. nvm, open the door first. then ltr he doesnt have to call me to open the door.

*open the door.*
wtf. he was there, outside my door for 5 mins alr. calling my phone.
well, my phone was in my room, not within my reach and i didnt know it was ringing.
apparently, door bell is for show.

i got a shock of my life. i am supposed to wait for him to come.
not to open door for him to come in. LOL!!!

i just wanna comment on SMooch CS. they are awesome!! my skirt was defected cause the ends wasnt wax properly. so i wrote an email asking for an exchange.

But S delivered my skirt personally cause the suppliers were closed last week and they couldnt mail it out. and since she stay close to me, she delivered it to my doorstep!

this is the second time she came alr! cause i didnt see her DM the first time round. she waited outside my house for 10 mins before leaving. she thought no one was at home cause my living room lights were off and hence she didnt buzz the bell to wake everyone up. it was 10pm then... XD

and she offered to come a second time! XD AWWWWW.

i mean, she really don have to do it and i definitely didnt ask that from them nor did i say i need the skirt urgently. even if she stay close to me. well, its really troublesome to drive all the way in and come all the way up to my house! i told her i can collect it below my block, but she offered to take the lift up cause it wasnt much of a hassle to her. XD

she did it out of goodwill. and i am really impressed. esp when, SMooch isnt exactly a small BS to start with! they really go all out for their customers. i am really really, IMPRESSED. and i don buy from SMooch often. XD once in a blue moon. XD

HAHAHAHA.From now on, SMooch is y next favourite BS after MGG and LB. at least, i know my items are definitely in safe hands. from purchasing to defects to exchanging.

(did i say, they even include a return envelop for me in the parcel? HAHAHA. so meticulous!)

p/s: obviously. i am not saying they offer home delivery. just get me wrong. just, i am really impressed and touch by what they have done! (:

i alr intend to wear my LB davenport in cobalt for CNY day 1 (here!). but mama says this colour is not an auspicious colour for CNY, she asked me to change into another dress. 0.o #lightingflashes.

last minute ask me to wear what leh!!
so i decided to wear my MGG J'aime les organza dress in royal indigo (M). mama actually WAH when i donned on this dress. hardly a time she ever compliment on sth i buy!! LOL. #raremoment

i wore the low back converter! Meiho purchased it for me from Metro at compass point for $7.90. but, i read from forums that its sold out there alr!! not sure if its been restocked though!

i wont be able to see the back strap of my bra with the convertor. but suppose if you wanna wear the low back convertor, you need to wear your bra with your straps on, else i think your bra will just drop. lol.

unless you wanna wear a nu bra. else, its not possible with any kind of normal bra.

i really like the skater bottom!! (:

i am in luck. i saw a same person wearing the MGG J'aime les organza dress in tangerine. right outside the mrt when i was gg home on 初一 .her bf looked at me, a little stunned cause i was wearing the same design as her gf. HAHAHAHA.

i was a little shocked and surprised too. but that would mean, we all have good taste to wear the same thing. XD well, what are the chances? i need to go buy 4D alr!! i still telll a podder that we wont be so heng to meet another person wearing the same dress, cause its exclusive in the market, there is no BO! HAHAHA.

even if the girl got buy, doesnt mean have to wear for CNY ma. she may just have other dresses to wear?
so, i conclude that i am really in luck.

Material: this material feels more expensive and more lux than chiffon. its very smooth, and there is actually this shiny sheen on it. it like touching silk. i really prefer this material much much more than chiffon!! this feel more expensive. HAHAHA. but this material is v sensitive to heat.

i destroyed this dress alr. yes, i destroyed it alr. the temperature of my iron was too high when i attempted to iron this dress before heading out. and i burnt a part of it.
thankfully, it was at the side; not so obvious.. it visible, but like that jie says, the designs outshine the defect alr. HAHAHAHA.

Design: my dress spells subtle sexiness with a tinge of formality. not too revealing yet giving a demure looking feel. the mesh and embroidery is all you need to give a good impression. HAHAHA.

Sizing: Absolutely not stretchable at all.slight loose for me at waist. ptp is just nice for me!! ^^

to buy dress. 5 stars/5stars!! HAHAHA.

well, honestly, i don wear sth too chui, nor too kua zhang or too revealing or too blah blah.
i am supposed to wear sth to give an good impression right to XX family right. HAHAHAH.

afterall, i am gg his house with his relatives all in on 大年初一.

i am literally, giving one review everyday. LOL. but i have no time to consolidate them all at one go! XD

i am sure the price is a turn off to most, cause its cost $33.80. (well, you pay for what you get!)

but i am happy with my buy though! its almost boutique standard with the rose motifs done and the eyelet featured at the ends of the skirt.

p/s: the hole behind the zip is er, kind of obvious. HAHAH. XD i would prefer the skirt without the silver zip and a hidden zip is added instead. XD

Material: roses motifs are actually done by interlacing cords, which in layman terms, using hair bands. (those you always use to tie your hair on!) personally, i think the satin used for the band, could be thicker so that its nicer. it look kind of flimsy and thin for the band.. XD

but mine came slight defected, the hair band ends wasnt wax/glued on very nicely, so i am waiting for my exchange pc! speaking of which, i am highly compliment on SMooch CS.

i told them abt my defected skirt in the evening, they replied me to send me a replacement pc that midnight, telling me they will mail it out before 1230pm the following day, so that i still have hopes of receiving before CNY. (don ask me why its before 12.30pm LOL. probably the first batch of mails dispatch from the PO is 1230pm. HAHAHA)

but, i know hopes are dim la. nonetheless, i am really grateful for the nice gesture. they should really be complimented for the awesome CS. i had experience a superb CS from them once before. and i am really glad for the consistent CS i am still receiving. do shop with them girls!!

Design: the rose motifs are the highlight of this skirt. quoting what they say, its really a impeccably handcrafted skir. its almost a piece of art. a very unique design indeed! (: its a intricate piece!!! ^^

Sizing: loose for me at waist. but i had slight difficulty putting it on pass my hips initially. (why my butt so big. 0.o) i have a 36" hips, so if your hips is bigger than 36" , i don advise you to get! (the zip is too short. cant open big enough for you to wear pass your hips easily. XD)

once i wear the skirt pass my hips, the skirt rest comfortably at waist for me alr!! no restriction at all.

Sizing: to be honest, when i first tried it, i don think this top is flattering on me. blame it on my weird body proportion. fits just nice on ptp. any smaller, all unsightly ugly pit fats is gg come out due to the cut in area of the crochet? and its gg to be uncomfy for my neh too.

but its slight loose for me at waist. T.T but of course, that would mean that, its not tummy hugging at all. hence, no tummy shown. XD maybe thats a good thing afterall!!! ^^

nonetheless, i got this illusion that i look smaller in size in this pc.
or perhaps, this top is just, flattering la. HAHAHA.

Material: again, this material will fur eventually. just, not as fast. XD its thick, but i don think its thick enough to make you feel hot though!! the crochet reminds me of walsh top!! the thick material accentuate all your body features, somehow.. HAHAHA.

Design: an exact replica of the top from errrr. (i cant rmb the brand though!) i really really think the ribbon behind spoils the top. they should probably make the back of crochet too? its gg to be so pretty then!! i think the ribbon a bit ugly lor. the ribbon is make of chiffon. (:

but despite all, i am not selling this top la!! HAHAHA. wearing it for chu san! HAHAHA.

due to the open back, size M is way too big on me!! hate it. else, size M wont be big for me de.
but gg by measurements, its a wonder how i can fit into size S. LOL.

Material: i cant say this material wont fur, but its definitely not that easy/prone to furring if you don purposely go bua it with your rough bag. (like, crumpler material) its slightly stretchable

Design: i secretly think size S is shorter than size M. so its cuter!!! i am short, so dresses too long doesnt look good on me!! XD

Sizing: surprisingly, its not snug at waist for me. (probably because my waist dropped a little. but my thighs got bigger????? 0.o) but i find it slight tight for my neh though. poor neh. LOL. but i reckoned thats the reason why its more flattering on me now. XD

this shall be my CNY dress! cause i really like the fit now.
i am glad i choose to hunt it down in size S cobalt though! its so pretty!!

i thought i tried on size M for the Creme pc. i was a little depressed when it was snug on me. so i thought, oh no. i actually gained so much weight that size M is tight on me? 0.o i cant buy this dress when its so small on me!! T.T

in creme. it gives me a slight nudish colour feel. but it all turn out to be a false alarm. that was size S i am trying. XD

size M is a much much better fit than size S. in tangerine.a very loud colour to me. XD

i really like this pc when i saw LH posted this on FP. the eyelet details are so pretty!!!
but, i have no idea what to do with the sash tie, where i am supposed to tie in front.
i look so fat in it.
its made of chiffon rayon. the very comfy and smooth material.

else, you can always tie the ribbon behind instead? the ribbon sash is not detachable. it likes a cape instead.

cause it was slight loose on me. and reviews mentioned that this cutting is smaller than usual. XD
if its size M, i dont think it will ever be loose on me. LOL.

i brought my XX to watch,

not sure if anyone knows, but one of my wish is to watch a R21 movie when i first turned 21. to flash my IC to them, telling them, " hey! i am 21 yrs old alr!!!" #cheapthrill.

that wish nv come true though! what a childish wish to have.i am turning 23 this July and i finally watched my first R21 movie alr!

it nv cross my mind i will watch it with XX though. i thought i will watch it with my friends or sth. LOL.

it wasnt a lousy movie.
but my chui ang moh has difficulty understanding the movie initially cause there were no subtitles. i have to concentrate and focus on what they are saying. why watch movie also so difficult ar? #tired.

mama love this top so much, she wanted me to buy another pc for her.

the band lies comfortably and nicely above my elbow! (:

there is a redundant zip, which is not needed. i have no idea why they decided to add a zip. XD
usually zip is useful for tops with a small opening! since this top has a big opening, the zip is not needed.
easily take out/in.

the presence of the zip make the zip pop out from the side when you choose to tuck in! kind of ugly. not very obvious here, cause my arm kind of hide it alr!

of course, you can always choose to tuck out instead of tuck in! then you wont have this problem!

again, as this top is white in colour, its sheer!! nude undies is strongly advised. (:

Cutting: i just realised this skirt doubles up as a office skirt as well. since there are ruches, you can easily hitch up or down, depending on your preference. Go to work in the day with the ruches stretched. and hitch them up with your knock off from work, if you are gg town for dinner/shopping.

i am kind of delighted that, it makes me smaller in size? or maybe i am thinking too much.

Colour: oh my oh my, the colours are so pretty!! why bs nv launch this kind of colours!! WHYIE!

Material: honestly, its disappointing. it have no idea why they wanna launch it in cotton. as much as VPL is more visible in lycra material, its doesnt fur that easily!!! and it last longer. cotton furs, SO EASILY, it furs faster than you think.and then it will be hard to re sell no? not trying to say that you have to re sell clothes you buy, what if your skirt furs after a few wears, i don think you will want to continue wearing it often too? #heartpain. honestly, as much as this skirt it TOTALLY TO-DIE-FOR, but its definitely not a lasting skirt to have!

it makes you sad when you see it starts furring!! XD

Sizing: so depressing!! my tummy is so obvious above the knot!! T.T the wasit band is tight! i feel ok in it, but i don think it will be comfortable wearing it for a few hours. but considering the fact that, bandage skirt is supposed to be tight some where, at waist or thighs, i find it acceptable?
just that, you will probably return home with a waist band mark when you bathe. XD

honestly, this skirt is not meant for girls with bottoms bigger than me!
the waist band is gg to be tight on you! not comfy. T.T

Manna's kimchi used to be awesome. but its saturated with too much vinegar lately too. Singaporean likes to eat vinger based kimchi is it? HAHAHA.

and oh my oh my.

the soup based is filled with so much seafood fresh goodness, you cant stop at just one mouthful.
(although i don deny there is preence of MSG too)

nonetheless, the richness is seafood comes from the crab, prawns blah blah!
it was sooooooooooooo sweet.

head over to chinatown for CNY shopping!! i bought a bamboo chopping board for $30 that comes with a super sharp scissors able to cut metal cans. tested and proven by me.

supposed to give her my pink burberry top since it was eons ago since i last wore it cause it was too long, it wasnt flattering at all. LOL. but i dumped everything into my bag pack, i forgot to give it to her when i go home. 0.o

but, the knot skirt makes my tummy so big, i emo. 0.o its depressing.

the fact there is no lining, there is a tendency for light to look through my legs. LOL. #hateit.

wanted to blog abt sth else, but i am so happy today. this should come first!!! ^^

i was having a super blue Monday cause i cant fit into my jeans this morning.
can you imagine how upset i am? i am 2 kg fatter and i cant fit into my jeans.

(but! i skipped dinner today, replacing it w a glass of milk + one papaya) mama was amazed. HAHAHAHA. i have amazing stomach. i can don eat much. but i can eat a lot too! i think i have an eating disorder.

i didnt sleep well last night, due to a nightmare. (weird, i dreamt abt me and stellina being dragged into a FP saga.)

oh, did i mentioned that i woke up this morning with a super blocked left ear, its as if, everything i hear was muffled. i thought i am gg to be deaf soon.

after digging my ear for a long long time using a hair pin, (mama doesnt allow us to use cotton buds, cause cotton gets trapped in your ear easily. even doctors don recommend cotton buds.) hair pins are actually, very good in digging ear wax! XD

and gosh. i digged out a disgusting amt of slightly wet ear wax. eww. EWWW!! OMG. but thankfully, my ear was cleared. by the time i left house for work.

what a blue blue monday. and the trains are slightly delayed this morning!!
it cant get any bluer.

it was then, in the late afternoon, i realise it was O level results release today!!
anxiously and excitedly, i called grandma to know how my cousin fared.

and oh my oh my!!
she did even better than XX!!! HAHAHAHHA.XX lousy. XD

grandma was so happy, so ecstatic, so high in euphoria she almost reach the sky, i can sense her excitement and happiness when she delivered me the news. grandma was so proud of her.

everyone in the family was proud of her. everyone was so happy. grandma said, aunt is so happy, she is treating everyone a seafood feast!!! wee!!

i almost screamed in euphoria in the lab when i heard the news. HAHAHAHA!! XD
and then my colleagues and i started to recall our results collection day.

i am so so happy for her!!!
i am so happy, i wanted to buy sth to celebrate!! but i have no idea what to buy!! LOL. XD

i was so high telling her which JC to go with aunt, i was louder and talking faster than usual, my chest/rib cage actually hurts a little now. why i so kua zhang and so drama?? XD

too excited. in the end, everyone reached a consensuses she should go Anderson. its so near us!!

so!! we went for the pink dolphin event ytd night.

to be honest, we went only because LB was the apparel sponsor. oops. XD
its my first time to butter factory. and we have no idea where this factory is located. Hooray to MH! and i am glad we managed to find the underpass eventually.

butter factory is actually located at One fullerton. we are such mountain tortoise. LOL.
and we just realised butter factory is so small. mountain tortoise X2. HAHAHA.

and i realise the 3 of us who wore flats that night, each has got ribbon on the flats. did i mention before, that ALL, EVERY SINGLE PAIR of my flats has got a ribbon? HAHAHA. i have no idea why. no ribbon, i don like. 0.o

to be honest, i am shocked by the bubbly, lively character the models give. don judge a book by the cover. all were survivors and members from the breast cancer foundation.

and, breast cancer can occur to anyone, whether you are young or old.
note to self, i shall go for breast checkup soon. (:

my aunt had a close devastating encounter with this illness, and its definitely not an easy path. i saw her pain, for the future of her kids, and the fear of the uncertainty that lies ahead. thank god, everything is ok on her now. no cut off, no nth. blessings from hubby above. (:

there are alot of supporters in the pink dolphin event, the encouragements from friends and family is probably what that kept them alive again. they are all so chubby and genuinely happy for given a second life. and today, they lead a life with hope. so many of them were dressed in pink for the event! all so enthu.

and no, we are not rich enough to buy those one of a piece apparels that were showcased. a total of 30 apparels were catwalk-ed with 3 themes. all bidding start from $40 onwards. all proceedings goes to the foundation. ^^ i think 25 pieces were exclusive to this event. 5 pcs are not, if i rmb correctly.

in between each catwalk, there is a belly dancing performance. and wah. they can really dance. look in dismay. i don think i can ever do that chimiology dance. i cant even coordinate well.

(i totally chui in dancing in my aunt's newly bought KINECT. but its totally fun though! although i think i scream and jump around more than i dance. BUT! i like to play volleyball, track and field with KINECT. you sweat literally. LOL. cost about $500 for a set. i go down to play whenever i feel fat.)

its slight sheer. nude undies recommended. i find the material chosen slightly rough for my liking. personally, for the extra row of beads sew on a mesh on the sleeves, i don really think its worth $27? XD

maybe its just me. nonetheless, pairing this top with jeggings, shorts looks really good. instant chic looking.

i was clever enough not to go to the parade square where the crowd is. its not only gg to be just very hot and stuffy, and there is no way i can take fireworks behind us w/o other ppl inside destroying my photo.

Chirstmas just ended.
here is my share of Made with love with a Christmas scrapbooking theme!

kind of fun to work with themes! choosing all relevant colours and decorations.
this project is kind of expensive though! especially with the christmas deco i choose.

whoever said handicrafts made with love are cheap, HAHAHA! you are wrong.
but there is always DIASO to the rescue! they sell some very awesome Christmas decorations. HAHAHA.

scrapbooking is no doubt, a very time consuming project, probably thats why its made with love.

nonethess, this is one of my favourite pieces to date.
and i am secretly happy my scrapbooking skills are improving. (:
i hope that's a good sign, and not the opening to a whole new world of massive scrapbooking tools. XD

my book actually has got a scallop border, but my decorations kind of, err, blurred it. HAHAHA.

these Christmas theme papers/borders are from paper market! it comes in a set, with a lot of Chirstmas papers, for $2.40 before 40% discount. LOL.

my first review of the yr goes to, Love bonito. HAHA.

buying this top has got a story. i was determined not to get anything for the last LB collection.
then out of curiosity, i went to the website to ee the skirt MH wanted to buy.

it was then, i saw this familiar top i always wanted to get from mulan. mulan sells fantastic tops. and most tops with superb workmanship and quality/material used. which kind of explains the hefty price tag.

mulan was selling this EXACT same top for $45. i thought it was too expensive. i wanted to wait for sales. but the sales nv come and it was sold out. LOL.

the launch was at 2pm, i went to the FB preview at 1.45pm during lunch break and i saw the top i always wanted to buy..can you feel my excitement??? HAHAHAHA.
(my lunch break is not fixed. HAHAHA. my colleague is forever asking, "HAIYO!!! veron, you eat lunch liao a not!!! the food is getting cold. work is nv ending!!!" they almost tell me that every single day.

decided to buy it in 5 mins. ask MH to shun bian camp for it at 2pm.
this is called, online shopping at the eleventh and 3/4 hour. LOL.

and oh la la! i got it. and the top was sold out in all sizes for apricot by that afternoon.
secretly happy. XD

Colour: i got shocked 2 times by i received this top.
1) the colour was a unpleasantly surprise. not exactly what i expected it to be. i expected it to be a brighter, fresher colour. this is like dried apricot. LOL!!
(then again, the colour discrepancy is not a big as the TCL avere paperbag skirt! HAHAH. LOL.)
2) the quality used it OMG-ly good and superb, i am shocked.

Sizing: its meant to be office alike wear = worn slight loose? so that your tummy wont be exposed while sitting down.
even size S is a tad loose on the models. size M is a tad loose for me too. but! i am very comfy in it. (:

design: this top is so ME! and this top is so feminine looking!! there is nth i don love abt this top. nothing. the colour difference becomes so insignificant cause the design and workmansip and material wins it all. HAHAHA.

the only thing i don like is the small opening for my mega head. no complains though! i have a big head and this top is of high collar. which also means, this is not a top for shopping!! very difficult to take off your top. HAHA.

Quality: this is honestly, my best buy in my entire online shopping experience. for $25 with postage, i really didnt expect this! the collar is delicately made with the folds. the material used is luxe. comes with a side zip!

bought this dress for CNY originally.
cause i don have a red colour dress.

in fact, i used to hate red. but all the things i have, are mostly in red, if there is red colour.
my red crumpler. my red elephant key bottle, my red nike bottle, my red wallet. HAHA.
but i don really fancy red clothes. it makes me feel like, i am a big ang bao feel. LOL.

esp if i am wearing red from head to toe. eg, dress. HAHAHA.

i cant say this dress exceeded my expectations. i have very high expectations for my online loots lately. cause LB is doing so well with their apparels, they hardly ever disappoint me, which result in the high standards i have for online purchases now.

Closeup the sequins; and it extends all the way to the back for the peter pan collar.
Its self manufactured.

design: the bling collar means you don need necklaces to glam it up. and its actually very apt for Christmas (even though its over!) parties. however, as a scrapbooker, such sequins actually have a tendency to curl up under heat. i tried it on scrapbooking before, and its disastrous. although i am not sure if its my glue gun with too high temperature which result in instant curling. oh, the process is irreversible.

the owner was very sweet to tell me how to take care of it though! flip the dress over and iron the collar down inside out. else, the collar will tend to stick upwards.

sizing: this is a shift dress design, meant to wear loose, hence the bigger in ptp. this dress will even fit uk10 comfortably due to the bigger ptp and A lined cutting from waist down. i prefer wearing it with a belt for more waist definition!

pricing: to be honest, i expect a dress of $28 to come with lining. its not exactly thick enough to cover all signs of VPL.its thick material, but not as thick as the davenport to go lining less.
(i am not sure of this, cause my undies are all seamless. but! i got a feeling it will show VPL. HAHA.)

colour: this colour is appropriate for CNY or even valentines! i link valentines with red. HAHA.

but! i am not keeping this though! unless i cant sell by CNY, then i will probably wear for CNY. not too revealing, colour is so CNY-ish, good to leave an impression on once-a-yr meeting session with relatives. LOL.

was supper happy last friday! its the commencement to the long weekend. weekends are essential to working adults. and long weekends bring a big smile to my face instantly!

not to mention there is a mega feast at lab that friday to celebrate Christmas! heh. hooray to free food!
so i am exceptionally happy last friday!

how to make this flower.

this almost idiot proof. HAHA. very easy to make! good to make when you use those colourful flowers until sian.

make circles of descending order. from small to big. or big to small.its the same. LOL.
you just need to walk around your house, find things of a circular bottom.
cups. bottles. bowls.

ink the sides/borders with distress ink.

cut out little triangle shapes at the border. doesnt matter if its equally spaced. HAHA. i also anyhow cut de.
cut out triangles for all the circles.curl up the sides a little.
stack all the flowers together. and tadah~~

i used it as a deco in this paper fan!the fan yongzhen is holding on the left. (:

Upcoming TCL mesh embroidery dress in dusty purple size M.

and then i regret my decision deeply to bought it in white in the end.

as much as i think, white is nicest out of the colour swatches.

BUT! truth is, i am too fat for white.

i should have tried on the white pc as well that day, then reality will kick in and then i will know i look like a giant in it. LOL!

design: obviously, i like the design, hence i bought it! cause i saw it irl before. really love the embroidery, so price wasnt a factor. LOL. i really think the embriodery is very nicely done. kudos to workmanship!

the mesh peek-a-boo gives a subtle sexiness. not too revealing!! HAHAHA.
its really a very very sweet/feminine dress.

in fact, i agree with my friend that, this is a dress my XX likes. LOL. HAHAHAHAH.

honestly, i bought this only because i saw very very nice reviews on it.
i really dont think it look that nice on Zianna. HAHAHA.

but ms-min and lihan have it as well, and it was so pretty on them!
i got this conclusion that, anything slight loose on ms-min would mean that it fits me nicely. HAHAHA.

honestly, this dress exceeded my expectations. in fact, LB exceeded my expectations for a lot of clothes lately. LOL.

they are coming back, fast and furious.

i literally skip all apparels with printed design. i bought a few printed dresses before. and i thought i look really chui in it. LOL.

but they changed my mind.
don you think the prints are really nice?

i prefer this over the feather prints though! the feather prints seems a little too harsh? and the colours/prints makes me giddy. LOL. this is more gentle and pleasant to the eyes. HAHAHA.

i sinned terribly at the last LB launch. so i shall not buy anything until 2012. LOL.

design: this ruches of this dress is very nicely done. even the CWC side ruch skirt cant fight with this. seriously, the ruches actually take a lot of workmanship to do? especially when, this dress has SO MANY ruches in the bottom! good to hide your tummy. HAHAHA.

but nylirehs actually point out that, the front looks a little weird. which, is true!! i looked at mine, then compare with the LB photos.

and so, i sadly concluded that M shape front wasnt done up so nicely.. LOL.
its not a M shape. but its not a straight line either?

sizing: ok. i really think i always max out the maximum possible measurements. its stretchy. else i don think i can fit in. girls bigger than ptp 17" will have difficulty zipping it up!

and i like how thoughtful LB is. they added a hook at the ptp area. don belittle this little hook. it make your life much easier in wearing. else its very very hard to zip up!

material: its actually some mesh polyester alike material. its smooth, sth i am surprised abt. HAHAHA.

the very sturdy hooks!

its very thoughtful of them to include a black pc of cloth underneath the hooks. so that you don expose your bra when you stretch the corset.

design: to die for. i very much prefer this over the Lucia Inez Corset launched at LB today!
this has got very very feminine and intricate beads and "embroidery" sewed onto it. so i prefer this!

be blown away by the workmanship for the price you pay!!

the only down side is the mesh layer the beads are sewed on. mesh are so intricate, they tear SO VERY EASILY. T.T

sizing: i am 16.5" to 17" ptp. if your ptp is bigger than mine, skip this. you cant hook easily de! talking abt izing, i am not sure if my body is too thick, or if my body isnt thick enough.

well, as much as the ptp fits me nicely, the boning actually tends to drop down a little, revealing a little cleavage. LOL.

i don really like how the boning slips down a little. so, i actually believe my body is too thick, thats why i cant pull it up w/o slipping down a little 30 seconds ltr? i keep pulling it up, i am so scared i actually managed to tear the mesh one day.

but, this corset is really too nice and pretty. i cant bear to sell it. LOL.

the waist measurements fits me nicely. (: i have a 27" waist.

colour: colour is not true to my 1st photo! true to the 2nd and 3rd photo instead. its cream colour irl. even though i actually think LB photos shows a little bit of grey instead?

i expect it to be fitting. only to find out it was loose on me at ptp.

finally! a dress. no need change outfit combi. HAHA.

i cant button the back though! so, i turn the dress 360 degrees around. button the back first, turn 360 degree around again, then wear the straps. LOL!!!

I REALLY LIKE MY ROSE BANGLE! its really hard to find a bangle that i like!

i am the only few who doesnt require to wear a nu bra/ a low back bra. my normal bra will suffice. LOL!!!

Sizing: size M is big for me, esp at the ptp. there is a hole. T.T due to the open back design, the ptp turn out to be bigger.

initially i was still scared that size M is gg to the small on me, gg by the measurements.
i need at least 16.5" ptp for a comfy. this davenport dress is only 16" ptp.

waist is not over-ly big though. comfy fit.
the slight tulip design hides your hips w/o any restriction!

Material: in layman terms, its made from a stretchy THICK cotton-ish material. polyester linen seems too chim alr. i think la. although not exactly what i fancy, but i don hate this either. HAHAH.

there is no inner lining, cause there is no need for one!

on the other hand, walsh top doesnt look good in skirt, unless you tuck in, or if you wear it with maxi.

its my FIRST embellishment/quartz top. and i am satisfied and delighted with my purchase!
usually, i siam embellishment tops at all cost. online shopping changed me.

material: i cant say the crepe chiffon used is thick or thin. i find it a little rough. but since the main focus is on the embellishments, i think its ok for the material la. the embellishments are safely secured on the chiffon! its actually a heavy top due to the embellishments leh!!

i was so afraid embellishments dropping/loosen while wearing the top in and out o many times doing review leh

i like the small pearly hems at the neckline, arm hole and the pearly scallop hem!
feeling extra feminine. HAHAHA.

actually, cwc has been repeating designs la. i thought this is very similar to the highly raved CWC chiffon high waist skirt (with a sash.). just no sash and different material used. so i bought this!!

janice had the CWC chiffon high waist skirt (with a sash) in black and its so pretty on her! i wanna hunt that skirt down!! who has it!!??

i actually think this skirt flares too much from waist down, which make my hips wider than it alr is!!!

was a little shocked by how light the skirt is. its really light. and because its so light, you don think its really worth the money. then again, its just $26.50 mailed.. so i cant expect that much right. but chiffon are light anyway!

honestly, i actually think, this skirt is rather cheapo-ly made. like, a cloth, sew the waist band. then make a flare bottom. or maybe its the thin chiffon material that gives me the illusion.

but the special thing abt this dress is, due to the material used, there is actually a sheen on it. which i find it very pretty la. but it also make the skirt not the take, wear and run skirt to have.

hmm, its really really so hard to find my favourite-perfect skirt.
i don think i am picky. its just, no easy to find sth that flatters me. tsk.

i would keep this skirt if its like 1.5-2 inches longer.
its too short for me, i don find it comfortable.

and this skirt is probably not manufactured by HH. i saw this skirt being sold it other bs.
there is no HH tag.

sizing:
hmm, anyone bigger size than me, skip la. anyone taller than me. skip this!

you will find it too short for you. unless you are someone who likes to wear short skirts. because its short on me, it actually reminds me of a bandage skirt instead. i am 156cm.

its not big (how can it be?) but thankfully, its not small on me either.
not tight at hips or thigh area.

sadly, this skirt was exactly of what i expected. i expect tulip skirt to be sth of bigger size??? then again, its my fault. HH apparels sizing always run smaller. i shouldnt have bought it. i am too big size for HH.

this is my first navy bottom. LOL!! i have a lot of navy tops and dresses. but this is my first navy bottom.

i paid $150 extra for this set of photos!! LOL. cant wait for my photos to be ready.

i promised ivy to post this one week ago alr! T.T

for the MGG DKNY knot front dress.
and the highlight is to tie a knot.

and a pretty knot. (:
so here is how to do it!

the final product. (:

will be using a different ribbon to illustrate on how to do though! since the 2 sides are different. easier for you to see and understand. (:
but the method is the same.

1) tie a knot.

2) tighten the knot. (as i wanna make a square like ribbon for scrapbooking, so i didnt tighten to the max)

suppose you wanna achieve the look for the blue ribbon,
tighten it all the way. (:

3) take a bit of ribbon from the left.

4) press in down.

5) now take note of the ribbon on the right.

6) make a loop with the ribbon that i circled behind the knot.

7) make sure the loop is big enough.

8) taking back the ribbon that you make the loop, pinch 2 inches and go through the loop.

9) once it go through the loop, pull enough ribbon to make sure the 2 ears are symmetrical.
(to make the podka dot pattern in front, just twist the ribbon)

and your ribbon is done!

suppose you wanna make ribbon with ends one side longer than the other,
just make sure that when you tighten the knot in step 2, one side is longer than the other.

this is not a concern for the MGG DKNY knot front dress, cause the ribbon used is alr one side longer than the other. (:

use the longer ribbon in step3. not the shorter ribbon. (:

sizing: fits me nicely! didnt have the problem of holes in between the buttons if this top is small for me. i hate how button down tops always end up making me have holes in between due to my ptp. T.T

material: i like this material! its of smooth chiffon/ chiffon rayon material. very smooth!

deisgn: this top is made of sewed swallows, which explains the higher cost price! but i think its worth it to get it! i thought the peter pan collar will really cute!! its different from your normal button down tops! the banded sleeves are total love too!!! adds value to the top. HAHA.

i don know why, i just like banded sleeves!

everyone is fighting to have one!! its just like how everyone is fighting to owe a pc of the BC chiffon mini/ the AE waterfall tops/ the LB walsh tops. LOL.

Love,bonito walsh top in white (M), CWC tailored highwaisted pants (M) (which i haven review yet! OMG. the nv ending list of to blog post. LOL.)

and i am glad i managed to get a pc of this!

but i really don think its that much of a difference la. i am sure, you will also love the blazer even if you got it from the BO batch. its just as good for your liking. HAHA.

honestly, not much difference la. the cutting is just as good.

the only difference between both batches is, the sewed pockets!
BO batch has got the pocket sewed.

easy to solve the problem! just take a pen knife. open the pocket slightly bigger. cut off the first thread.
the rest of the thread can easily come off once you use the pen knife and cut it across.

with my royal purple cami. $5 only!!

and i thought it look just as good in shorts as well!!! instant less casual effect. HAHA.

colour: i prefer city tan over avocado. but i like black over city tan!! HAHAHA. black = versatile. as boring as it may seem. i am a boring person when it comes to blazers.

i think i am a super woman. 5kg of stuff on my left shoulder. 5kg of stuffs on my right shoulder.

on a side note, we bought 9 boxes of ice cream today!! if you didnt know, ice cream in JB is very cheap.

just that we have different exchange rates.

for the first time in my review, i actually uploaded so many photos!!
but this only show how much i love my purchase!

i am such a good girl k. i got inspired by meiho to pair my purchase with a lot of combi!!
HAHA.
its kind of troublesome though..
so, you should really appreciate how meiho always make the extra effort to take extra pictures!!

but taking with different combi means that you can see how to match your clothes!! HAHA.
so in future you don have to waste time finding different combi to match again!

matching it:
the simplest way is to match is with a spag top.(go F21 and buy!! $5 only!! super cheap!)

as i am not slim enough, wearing this cardi with a sleeve top make the cardi pong out at the arms area. super ugly!! so spag/sleeveless top are best for this cardi!

besides, a cardi/blazer goes really well with spag tops!! it wont be so hot for singapore weather.

my cardi is black in colour, so it goes well with most colours!! without being too colourful. HAHA.
i am so glad i listen to meiho and cart it out in black!

navy colour is also very nice!! (meiho bought it in navy)
but navy colour is close to deep rich purple. (its my favourite colour!)

material: made of knit! honestly, this knit is not warmth enough you keep you cozy. i almost freeze in lab today. LOL.

i feel cold not because i am in a skirt today. i have the Hollyhoque- Puff Sleeve Royal Blue Cardigan but its thick enough to keep me warm! HAHA.

for the price i paid, a better knit could be used!

design: the swallows are totally TO.DIE.FOR. the swallows are sewed. not printed. (printed swallows can possibly cause colour run. nv get printed swallows version!)

sizing: anyone bigger size than me, cant buy this. you will realise your cardi will slide off your shoulders cause your shoulders are broad. i am the largest size to fit this cardi alr!

initially, when i wore it this morning, it was a tad tight for my right arm. not tight for my left arm though. (why my arms different size?)

but the tightness is gone when i reach lab! woohoo! a comfy cardi to own! (:

all in all, i love my purchase, despite the price. HAHA.

thank god we only ordered 4 plates. and not 5. or 6. HAHAHAH.

wasnt wearing a strapless bra that day, so i covered it with my hair. but the details are seen in the first pic! (:

this is the dress i wanted to buy ever since i saw yina in it.
it was one of the dress i set aside for my monthly quota of buying clothes.

even though, i don think i have a quota. i just say nia. i still buy, if i like it even if i exceeded my "quota." HAHAHA!! my quota is, just don buy so much till wallet cry. since there is forever sth nice to tempt me. LOL.

back to the dress.

from her pictures and the photoshoot they took, the embroidery was just all so gorgeous!
so pretty, its a must get. i am so determined.
i excitedly head over to KJ just to try out this dress before meeting my girls last week. HAHA!!

until, i realise, this dress wasn't as good as i first thought to be. (KJ made me saved moolah!)

material: contrary to what the other podders think, i actually think this material used is the usual chiffon they used? HAHAHA. those smooth kind. if this is considered rough, you probably hasnt seen rough chiffon before.

colour: its a very sweet pastel yellow colour! its a little sheer though! nude coloured undergarments recommended.

design: if you are looking for a CNY dress and do not wear cheong sums, this dress is a good choice.
i don wear cheong sums and was intending to buy this for CNY.

i feel this is more wearable than cheong sums though!! HAHAHA. and this dress is suitable for dinners as well (:

however. i don think the embroidery was very nicely done. the embroidery was sewed to a pc of mesh, which then sew to the dress. mesh being mesh, its of white/off white/grey colour. (don know what colour la. just a light colour.)

and hence, its is exceptionally obvious for the mesh cut out in the navy pc. its not so obvious from the yellow pc. because yellow is a light colour, the mesh doesnt contrast much with it.
if you really must buy this dress, stay away from the navy pc. get the pale yellow pc instead!! (:

(look at bleh_xp review in navy and wine colour here!)
personally find the navy and wine mesh wasnt done as nice as the pale yellow pc?

how nice can you expect the cut out mesh to be? there is bound to be uneven edges cut somewhere, which make the dress look, very messy, with not so good workmanship.

sizing: i don find the neck suffocating on me though, even though its a high collar dress.

and i don find the length short on me. in fact, its the kind of length i hope to find in dresses. HAHA.

its a one size fit all dress. ptp is rather big. probably measure 17.5" to 18" ptp. the fact that it is a one size fit all dress and its A lined cutting with a sash to define the waist means that, this dress wont fit nicely on everyone. petite girls may find the ptp too big.

if you think abt it, the entire expensive thing on the dress is just the embroidery on a layer of mesh.

in my words, its like a big pc of cloth, cut into A lined bottom, sew the collar nicely. then add the embroidery. LOL!!

totally killed my interest after seeing the real pc. T.T
SKIPPED.

since i skipped this dress, i spent the money on LB cameron cardi in black instead!! HAHAHA.
bought it simply because, my facial auntie says it nice when i tried it from MH today!! took hers and try while having facial today. WAHAHAHAHA.

i know when will my xx scream at me alr.

its a social stigma.

its a hurtful society.

now, xx and i are high over heels. what is gg to happen to us 50 yrs down the road when reality seeps in?
we are no longer young. we are no longer capable for doing things we used to do.

20 yrs down the road. love needs to be reminded. maybe just 10 yrs down the road, xx wont be bothered to take photos with me anymore or bring me for nice food alr. maybe he wants me to just settle for sth simple and eat instant noodles instead. save all the trouble.

not trying to be a pessimist, but just trying to foresee a perhaps, possible future scenario. HAHAHA. its highly possible isnt it? we should all be realistic to know that nth last forever and ever. yes, call me a pessimist.

a marriage or r/s is not easy to maintain. be it for normal straight r/s or for gay/lesbian marriage relationships.
a r/s takes a lot of effort just to make fairy tales last.

no, my current r/s is not in a crisis state. in case your imagination run wild just by reading this entry of mine.
i am glad that both of us are still hardworking in coping it. personally, i have a lot of weird theories that make me hardest person to live with. OOPS..

look at your parents. i am quite sure they are deeply in love before they are married.
(obviously, i am not saying all marriages are like that.)

then look at them now. 50 yrs down the road, wrinkles all over the face and cellulite sets in.
intolerance starts to creep in secretly too and the next thing you know, all hell break loose.

for ytd, today, tml and the future, i still think,
if a normal r/s doesnt last, so what makes you think a homosexual r/s wont?
actually, if you do happen to meet one, it will probably last. cause you know, everything is not easy, you treasure each other more.

its just, reality kills anyone harsher than what you thought. its deadly.
our society is just not liberal enough to accept the difference.
our society dont treat that kind of r/s normal yet.

being secretive abt it, kills you and suffocate your partner.
but being open abt it, kills both of you as well.

a normal r/s can hold hands and walk on the busy streets openly.
a homosexual r/s hold hands and walk with watchful eyes staring at you.

there are alot of social stigma associated with it.
and alot of lies that need to be said just to make everything look normal.

as much as i think that our sexual orientation desire for our lifelong partner is sth that we cant change, so i think there is nth wrong abt it.

its the kind of, so wrong yet so right.

its just, the path is way too difficult and treacherous to walk in.
"its not easy" is such an understatement.

COCOQUETTES Lace Waterfall Top in ivory (there is a difference in sizing between the cream and the cobalt pc. do take note!)

i actually wanted to get this top when cocoquettes launched this top. then SWV launched a similar one as well. its inspired from ASOS. and its almost an exact replica!

but SWV apparels always have an elastic band, which i really hate it. (it just cheapen the top.)
one size fits all apparels just arent that appealing.

so! i didnt get from SWV. besides, i wasnt working then, since this top wasnt a must get. i resisted the urge to spend.

until i saw someone in it. totally temptress sia.
so i still bought it in the end. OMG ar. i always buy it ultimately, after resisting it. WHY ar WHY.

its my first apparel from cocoquettes. and it didnt disappoint me la. its my problem for being fat. HAHAHA. LOL.

but still keeping this though! (:

when tucked out. it is fitting from waist down. so you can easily pair with pants and not tucked in.

material: hmm, not chiffon. sth like polyester blend. they say its crepe material. but crepe material isnt really smooth and has grainy-pokey feel to it. this is not. its sth smooth. sth that i will like.

sizing: there is sth wrong with the cutting. usually measurements for at least ptp 17" will fit me nicely. not tight nor loose. but this top hor. although this top really measures 17" ptp, my neh was almost squashed flat.
i measured my ptp when i wore it, its 32.25" nia. 0.o tsk. the cutting runs small.

i am not sure why. maybe they sew the inner lining too small. thats why it was a little tight for me.
thank god for the flutter sleeves. else i am gg to look like a pig with alot of fats bulging everywhere.

colour: WAHAHAHA!! i am glad to choose this colour over cobalt blue though! cream colour matches any coloured bottoms easily.

this is esp impt, cause i my bottoms are almost all of different popping colours. LOL!!
cream colour is close to white. hence, it will go well with a lot of colours! very easy to match.

very versatie colour, but easily dirtied and easily look twice as well. HAI.

while i took photos for my walsh tops last week!! cause it was so pretty! i decided to wear them out and take photos with it. HAHAHA.

all photos displayed are taken with my awesome timer. heh.

i find it hard to accept that i actually have thighs bigger than my bf. this is so depressing. he is so thin, my BMI is actually higher than him. i am so fat beside him. LOL.

i honestly have no idea why this is called Majolica Blue. HAHA. its actually dark teal colour. i went to google the colour tone, and it doesnt really seem close. HAHAHA.

nonetheless, this top actually belongs to my mama. she accompanied me to KJ 2 weeks ago and saw this top. she tried it and fell in love with it.

she said, "why the bs will manufacture sth that is literally auntie cutting?"
so i was like, how can it be big? LH wear so nice. 0.O

i didnt tried it. but mama always have a problem buying clothes. she is not really that fat. she has small shoulders and small thighs (why i didnt inherit her or papa's small thighs??? they always mock at my thighs. T.T) but she has a bulging tummy, thanks to aging. HAHAHAHA.

usually if she choose to upsize the apparel to fit her tummy, it doesnt fit her on the shoulders. it will slide down.

so she has to buy clothes with flare cutting. LOL!!
until she saw this top.

she excitedly wanted me to buy for her. HAHA. its her first online purchase!

design: a flare cutting from bust down. so! this will probably suit ladies undergoing pregnancy! (my mama is abt 18" ptp) my colleagues are still small sized when a few mths pregnant. only the womb gets bigger. but shoulders/thighs remain more or less the same. probably just a bit bigger nia. so this kind of top will suit you!

but its not that flare if you wear it tucked in with bottoms la. i actually like the look!
i shall steal mama top and wear it during christmas season to get into the festive mood. HAHAHA.

i like the banded sleeve!! makes an illusion that you have slimmer arms. its definitely nicer than elastic bands or just a normal sleeve cutting.

i prefer it in white colour, but mama is too clumsy to wear white coloured apparels. (i must have inherited the clumsiness from her!!)

material: i am a fan of chiffon rayon material. smooth for my liking, although chiffon rayon are a little thin. smooth > thin. HAHAHA. its lined too!

sizing: will fit up to big uk10 easily!

i tried this dress last week. HAHA.

i went to KJ today to try the upcoming TVD dress!!
and i saw a few bs selling this dress as well! (this dress caught my attention because i saw it at bugis village 2 weeks ago. and was registered in my brain for the design.)

this material is similar to my Tracyeinny Jocole full flare dress in cream size M. if i rmb correctly. HAHA.
its of good material, those thick/office kind. i cant rmb if its lined though!

looks great for office! the material and workmanship is there! (and the tag is similar to my TE full flare dress! i think it comes from the same factory.)

which means, the quality is there. (:
its stretchable!

i tried size M in green. and it was very big on me at ptp. and the dress is actually very long on me? easily 34"!

apparently, i underestimated my size. (well, blazers usually turn out to be big on me. so i sized down this time round. which turned out to be a wrong choice)

material: WAH. the material is superbly smooth. and its LINED. definitely worth your moolahs. its really smooth material used, totally add expensive luxe aura to it. heh. its my feel of material. LOL. not exaggerating, the few blazers MGG launched, the material aint as smooth as this!! it surprise me.

NO WONDER THE EXTRAS FOR BLACK FROM BO ARE ALSO SOLD OUT.
good stuffs cannot be missed.

sizing: as i decided to size down, which is a wrong choice. this blazer is very small on me!! i need size M. (will size M be small on me as well?) its so so SO small on me, i cant even button it!! absolutely non stretchable.

yongzhen (doublechoco from FP, go read her blog! she is starting to do reviews on her blog and FP! her blog is useful for reviews too! ) fits her nicely. she is able to button it with ease. she is so slim sia. my round big stomach cant even close the "flaps" tgt to button it.

design: as the name of the blazer suggest, its a corporate blazer. the design is more "old fashioned", geared to the working adults for the smart look. not the kind of casual chic look you find yourself in with other blazers, like the highly raved SWV blazer.

colour: colour is not true to my photos! its true to studio pics! honestly, i think i bought the wrong colour. doesnt suit me leh? and being dusty = more toned down. its gg to be harder to match?

SWV Tailored Theory Blazer in Avocado VS Amber Avenue Corporate Blazer in Dusty Rose, size S.

hmm obviously, material wise, i am biased to think that the AA blazer will win hands down. simplily because, the AA material is ~~better~~ smoother than the SWV one!

the SWV material is not bad actually, just that if you compare both blazers, i would prefer the AA one. and AA one is lined!!! i still think blazers SHOULD BE lined.

and the SWV blazer is slightly stretchable as compared to the AA one!

design wise: since i am not a working adult that requires formal work attire, i prefer the SWV blazer! more casual. (or is it because i choose it in avocado?)

decorating my photo with such a border is so pretty! (:
you just need to cut a rectangle border, cut abt 2 cm diagonally at the 4 sides.
tear the edges and curl them!!

ink the edges with distress ink!

and the butterflies you see, is the new punch i bought ytd! see, i use my things very fast hor.
the punches die cuts are super pretty pls!

it was on 40% sale. after discount, its abt $20. very worth it.
haiya, i just realise paper market always have 40% for tools for VIP members de la. HAHAHA.

i have agree that, white colour shows the crochet more clearly!! LOL!

both walsh tops in black or white are equally nice.

but if you ask me which colour i prefer more, it would be the white colour.
(and i seldom have white coloured apparels. cause i am such a clumsy person, white = easily dirty. and my makeup always strain the top when i remove it. T.T)

so i seldom keep white coloured clothes.

but i honestly think white coloured walsh top is nicer, simply because the crochet is easily seen.
black is too dark for the details to be seen clearly.

nonetheless, both walsh tops are totally TO. DIE. FOR. awesome buy.
and both gives a different vibe. in other words, BUY 2 WALSH TOPS!

but since this is not meant to be worn too fitting. i shall close 2 eyes. besides, i really love this too much to sell it away! LOL! maybe i will ask my grandma to see if it can be altered smaller a not!

design: honestly, i would prefer this walsh top with longer inner lining. this is very impt for ppl with very unsightly tummy like me!! LOL!! but then again, i found a way to solve this problem. since the top is alr big on me, i shall wear a tube/spag inside so my tummy will be covered.

not sure if you believe a not, i actually saw someone wearing this dress at J8 weeks ago.
and i actually rmb it. she was wearing it in mustard colour. HAHAHA.
and i thought it was super pretty. only to realise, it was a TVD label.

material:very stretchy. thats why i can fit into size S! some cotton blend? not too bad.
but! not for my liking. i only like smooth stuffs! heh.

sizing:hmm, the sizing runs big! i advise you to size down.

design: find it very young to wear this! i will be on a happy mood wearing this! HAHAHA. it comes with 2 side pockets! there is a zip at the back for easy wearing! (:

check out the row of buttons! (i actually think that, its kind of kiddy. esp when this is so adult-ish?)

sizing: size M fits me nicely! i reckoned girls bigger size than me wont feel very comfortable in it! too tight eh? online clothes of size M seems to fit me very well lately! HAHAHA.

material: structured material. (thick cotton blend?) not too bad. but not sth i fancy. i am very particular abt the material of my clothes. *poke myself*

and i am not sure if it will fur?? cotton blend apparels seem to fur easily! but the inner lining is made of satin, super lux! (:
comes with a side zip too!

design: a bit pong, reminds me of the lampshade skirt! definitely not tight on your hips!

i have been busy making props for my upcoming photoshoot!!

HAHAHA! so exciting.
my props so cute pls!

heh. and i am proud of myself figuring it out how to do!
so you see, i enjoy staring at things, figuring out how to make the item.

eg. my mama is very amazed by my ability to make CNY lanterns, just by looking at lanterns hanging at handicraft shops selling them. i don even get to touch them. they are like 3 m away from me.

but i will be able to produce a similar one at home.
no need spend money go learn. HAHAHA.

my mama will be like, wah. i have like 5 CNY lanterns?
but i haven been making them for a long long time.

i made them many years ago. (my mama was even more amazed.)
when i was in secondary school?

so my CNY lanterns are in a chui state now! no time to redo! LOL.

anyway!
last week, i stared at this mega circular fan like flower at paper market.
i stand there, wondered for a good 5 mins how to make it.

HAHAHA. and tadah!
i went home. and made one!!

wrong, i made three.
HAHAHA.

i will show you a step by step method how to do k!
super easy! (:
i am such a clever chap! heh.

today, i went made with love, saw this super pretty paper flower.
i thought they make the layered flower using punches, until they told me, they cut them into this shape)

this shape is a little misleading, i thought.
in more precise words, you cut circles, cut the edges, then curl them.
brillant. my brain solved the mystery..

i went home right away, edited the version (i don like what they did, so i changed it) and created my own version!
i am so proud of myself today.

i got my health screening results today!!

hmm, i am so healthy, i find it amazing.
but my pressure belongs to the low side for normal range ppl. genes la. mama side all got slight low blood pressure.

thats why i have blood shot brain whenever i am upside down. eg, looking for things under the bed.

*but i don have low blood pressure k*

HAHAHA!

erm, i am super healthy on occasions, but i can be super unhealthy too! *my XX poking me now*

i have a very high HDL (good cholesterol) and a low LDL (bad cholesterol)
i am so healthy sia. hurhurhur.

and a good total cholestrol/HDLratio!
the good range is between 2 to 3.
average is 4.
mine is 2.2

kudos to mama who insist on no deep fried food.
if there is a need, oven to the rescue!

and mama only good oil and healthy oil.
she used to use olive oil. (and she buys the ex onesssss. OMG.)

but upon hearing that using olive oil for routine cooking actually causes cancer cause they result in radicals with the high temperature. mama almost fainted; spend so much money and get yourself killed faster. LOL!!

so, mama use grape seed oil now! grape seed oil is cheaper than olive oil lor! hehehehe.
grape seed oil has higher tolerance to heat.

and ~~mama~~ I nv use salt. HAHAHA.
in case you are wondering, i cook everyday, if i am not gg out.

but we do not add salt into our food.
thats why, our salt always "grow" water. you will realise there will be water in your salt if you don use them often. LOL!!

mama decided that its a waste for $$ buying salt. esp when our salt cost $3.50 (pan-salt) so she stopped buying salt altogether.

if there is a need for salty-ness, abalone sauce saves the day!
mama says oyster sauce is bad for health, so we don eat that anymore.

and I remove all sights of oil in soups.
HAHAHA. all pork are blanched prior to adding them into the soup for boiling.
say NO to oil!

and all fats are always removed by yours truly.
*mama scolding me cause i make everything tasteless, and i turned into deaf ears*

suddenly, i feel i damn healthy. HAHAHAHA.

*looking at my tibits now. OOPS.*

anyway, here is a tip for you.

should you have high cholesterol.
try this recipe.

buy BIG black fungus and boil them tgt with a few slices of ginger, 10 red dates.

boil for 30 mins will do, until you get abt 2-3 glasses.
drink them 2-3 times a week. keep them in the fridge if you cant finish it!

i drank it once, and it was awful. i find it hard to swallow it down. 0.O
but then again, 良药苦口.

your cholesterol level will drop instantly.

mama used to have slight high cholesterol. mama freaked out, decided to be a good girl and drink regularly.
upon drinking it for one mth, her cholestrol drop to a new low, even the doctors find it amazing.

you can try!

p/s: doesnt work for all ppl though! it doesnt work for my colleague. but no harm trying! (:

material:
honestly, i don really like it.
it is not as smooth as my lampshade skirt.
like linen? SWV tailored theory blazer is also made of linen. but its a thick and good linen.

as for the MGG skirt, this linen is thinner, less smooth.

so, i was having my written test today.
i told myself i am gg to study for it over the weekend, but i got myself busy with other things, i have no mood for studying.

i consoled myself ytd that i am gg to study on the train instead.
but when i was on the train, i got so tired. i fell aslp. OMG. i am seeking death hor.

HAHAHAHA.
god bless me for the test.

a good 2.5 hours was allowed for the test. and i used up every single minute.
so my colleague was saying, " wah, veron, you are still doing the paper ar!!!!"

"T.T. HAHAHA!!YA LOR!!! OMG AR!!! but finishing liao!"
apparently, everyone must have completed the paper in lighting speed.

serves me right.
fortunately, there is sth called internet and its open book!

i probably read it once or twice of the thick THICK lab manuals, procedures, operations of lab, accreditation, and i finally realised how impt chain of custody is, else it cant be presented on court.

i didnt even studied my exam at the 11th hour. i didnt studied for it. *box myself.*
oh, i studied for it, one mth ago. and was sick of it ever since. HAHAHAHA.
